Tree Maintenance Professional

The city's tree maintenance team plays a vital role in maintaining street scapes and environments. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for various aspects of tree maintenance, including selection, planting, and delivering scheduled maintenance and reactive requests.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Performing all aspects of tree maintenance/replacement works as required.
  • Ensuring work area is safe.
  • Driving and maintaining heavy equipment in a safe and professional manner.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in tree maintenance.
  • A current MR Licence.
  • EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification.
  • The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Experience dealing with customers, clients, and members of the general public.
  • A Police Check and Working With Children Card.
  • Certificate III in Arboriculture and Certificate II ESI.
  • A Chainsaw Licence and tree climbing experience/qualifications.
