Key Roles and Responsibilities

The position involves representing the organisation at events and external events hosted by partners, actively engaging with attendees and promoting the organisation's mission. The ambassador will also be responsible for encouraging audience growth by connecting with students, fostering relationships, and promoting the organisation's mission and vision.

Key Duties and Expectations

  • Attend events and engage with attendees to promote the organisation's mission.\
  • Encourage audience growth by building connections and promoting the organisation's mission and vision.\
  • Recap event experiences by sharing highlights and insights to support content creation and storytelling.\
  • Champion the organisation's initiatives by being a role model and buddy to volunteers, strengthening team culture and engagement.\
  • Collaborate with the marketing and activity teams to align ambassador efforts with broader promotional strategies.\
  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.\
  • Work collaboratively and independently within a hybrid environment, using remote work tools and working with virtual teams.\
  • Use social media to promote events and connect with students, and experience with social media engagement or content creation is beneficial.\
  • Identify and share key event highlights for content creators, and be adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn.\
  • Experience in student engagement, ambassador roles, or similar positions is beneficial, and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build connections and encourage student involvement.\
