Job Title:
Capability Developer
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Capability Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development, implementation and delivery of key capability programs and initiatives.
The primary focus of this role is to implement a new capability framework and introduce new capability initiatives and programs to support the achievement of business objectives.
Main Responsibilities- Developing, implementing, and facilitating capability programs to support the implementation of professional standards and capability plans
- Managing project and change management deliverables for the Professional Standards Framework from implementation to PIR and embedment
- Delivering capability and leadership programs with the support of the Learning and Development team and ensuring psychological safety of colleagues
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure an effective and collaborative approach to delivering capability solutions
- Consulting and collaborating with the team to provide project and program support services to support the delivery of capability programs and initiatives
- Developing project and change management plans to ensure effective and timely delivery of capability programs and initiatives
- Coordinating and facilitating workshops, training, events, and meetings
- Developing program and change materials to support the delivery of key programs and initiatives
- Gathering, analysing, and reporting on capability data to support the Capability function in delivering effective initiatives and solutions
- Monitoring, evaluating, reviewing, and reporting on the effectiveness of capability initiatives to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Well-developed project and change management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and plan effectively
- Customer-focused and able to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Highly experienced in developing, implementing, and facilitating learning and/or capability initiatives
- A highly effective communicator both written and verbally, who can facilitate and present in meetings, workshops, training, and events and maintain a professional demeanour
- Self-motivated individual who maintains a level of excellence through times of change and shows resilience in the face of challenges
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office suite to effectively manage capability program documentation and delivery
- Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and able to manage multiple priorities
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A problem solver and able to negotiate
- Knowledge of workers compensation (advantageous)
