Clinical Audiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team at Sonova, a leading provider of hearing health care services. As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a critical role in assessing and diagnosing hearing loss, providing treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders, and delivering exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities- Hearing Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using a range of techniques, including audiometric tests, to determine the extent of client hearing loss.
- Reporting and Referrals: Report results of assessments and tests in writing and make referrals to medical practitioners as necessary.
- Treatment and Management: Recommend solutions to clients with hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices, and provide aural rehabilitation programs.
- Counselling and Advice: Provide counselling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment.
- Noise Control and Hearing Conservation: Assist with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
- Hearing and Communication Disorders: Provide treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age-related, part of a disability, or acquired as a result of injury or disease.
- Qualifications: University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
- Professional Membership: Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud.
- QP Number: Current QP number.
- Audiological Skills: Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
- Customer Care: Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience.
- Software Skills: Ability to learn and understand new software with training.
- Performance: Proven ability to achieve KPI's.
- Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
