Project Management Professional

As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative capabilities to various programs and projects.
This is an opportunity to work in a top-security, complex and highly technical environment that plays a vital role in defending the country.
Key responsibilities include overseeing ICT projects under limited direction, managing activities and processes related to project procurement, finance, asset documentation, and administration. You will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of ICT projects, including defining scope and requirements, developing plans and schedules, and communicating formally and informally on project progress.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and be able to think critically and utilize problem-solving skills. Technical skills required include high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of ICT projects, asset and records management, and financial procedures are also necessary.
- Manage project assets, including monthly reporting, quarterly reviews, and asset rollouts.
- Deliver effective contract management support, including contract variations, receipt and review of contract deliverables, and administration of contract closures.
- Ensure planning and delivery of major project milestones are in accordance with requirements.
