Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative service and breakdown repairs;
  • Provide exceptional customer service;
  • Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and other administrative components.

Requirements:

  • Current driver's license - essential;
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic) - essential;
  • Forklift License & LPG Certificate advantageous but not essential.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Proven strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills;
  • Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry;
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation;
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently;
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills.
