About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team in the Northern Territory. As a key member of our workshop operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair Caterpillar equipment across various industries, including resources, construction, and infrastructure projects.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component overhauls.
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification in diesel fitting or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
