Job Summary

This Casual Nursing position is ideal for Registered Nurses who are available to work flexible shifts and contribute to the provision of clinical care on a shift-by-shift basis. You will be part of a close-knit team, working with our care management, clinical and care teams to ensure safe and high-quality care for residents.

About the Role
  • This Casual RN role involves managing residents who are acutely unwell or require nursing interventions, supporting the care team to ensure safe care, and liaising with families and health practitioners.
  • You will have the opportunity to be rostered dedicated time to assist with resident assessments and audits if desired.
Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • The management of residents who are acutely unwell or require nursing interventions
  • Supporting the care team to ensure safe and high-quality care for residents
  • Liaison with families and various health practitioners
  • Documentation of care needs and interventions
  • Ongoing assessment and review of resident care plans
Requirements
  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
  • An interest in making a difference to others and contributing to a positive team environment
  • Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
  • National police clearance
