As a Clinical Care Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to clients in the Lithgow region. This is a permanent part-time position with a four-day workweek. You will need to travel to Orange and Bathurst areas as required.
- This role is ideal for a registered nurse seeking stability and work-life balance – no more shift work or night shifts
- You will be responsible for assessing clients' clinical needs, providing ongoing support and advice, and delivering hands-on clinical care as needed
- You will also provide support with COVID-19 escalations and educate care workers on best practices
- The Clinical Care Professional leads, supports, and mentors their team
- The role requires professional accountability and responsibility in line with registration requirements of a Registered Nurse, managing and directly caring for clients' clinical needs
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA clinical qualification
- At least two years of experience working as a Registered Nurse, with wound management experience essential (skin tears, pressure injuries, and complex wounds)
- Strong knowledge of home care packages, ideally with experience working in a multisite environment managing a team of professionals across sites in your area
- Willingsness to travel between sites and hold a current Australian driver's license and access to your own vehicle
