Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave coverage role. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the Passenger Service Delivery franchise requirements and the wider KD business plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the operational requirements of the occupation plan;
- Plan and implement Network Readiness processes;
- Capture and monitor costs against the projected budget;
- Manage Yarra Trams Occupations schedule and liaise with DOT and other transport operators;
- Develop and coordinate the Network Readiness Plan;
- Draft and submit Network Readiness Plans to DOT;
- Complete and quality-assure Lessons learnt documents for planned disruptions, including occupations;
- Continuously improve plans for reoccurring events;
- Coordinate Network change event risk assessments and evaluation;
- Recommend adjustments to procedures and standard templates relating to the Network Events process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the transport industry and/or event planning;
- Excellent operational understanding of Victorian public transport systems;
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks;
- Strong analytical, visualization, and conceptualization skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills;
- Excellent planning, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
- Ability to promote ideas or solutions to network issues or constraints to management;
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve operational services timeframes;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
