Job Description
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager role is a strategic position that plays a key part in shaping the financial direction of our business. Reporting to the Finance Director, this individual will lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring robust forecasting, insightful performance analysis, and data-driven decision support.

We are looking for an innovative and experienced FP&A professional to join our team. As a key member of the finance leadership team, this person will play a crucial role in aligning financial strategies with business objectives, optimising resource allocation, and supporting innovation and growth in a highly regulated market.

This position involves leading the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless alignment and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Business Partnering (40%)
* Lead annual budget, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
* Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and supply chain teams to align financial strategies with business goals
* Support strategic initiatives such as product launches, new indication development, pricing strategies, and market expansion
* Provide financial insights to guide investment decisions and resource allocation

2. Financial Analysis & Reporting / Month-End Closing (30%)
* Analyse financial performance, including sales trends, profitability, margin evolution, and promotional effectiveness
* Prepare monthly business reviews with variance analysis and executive commentary
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify risks and opportunities
* Deliver ad hoc analysis to support senior management decision-making and HQ
* Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, business cases, and ROI analysis
* Develop analysis tools and provide support to all departments with financial/business analysis

3. Process Improvement & Compliance (10%)
* Enhance FP&A tools, systems, and reporting processes and ensure continuous improvement
* Drive automation and digitalization initiatives within the finance function
* Support internal and external audits as needed

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis in a managerial role
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and Excel; experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics and SAP) as well as reporting tools (HFM, Essbase highly regarded)
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence decision-making
• Absolute confidentiality and maturity in handling confidential data including HR and personal data
