Critical Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Risk Management Advisor to join our Health and Safety department at Pilbara Minerals. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and health of our employees through the delivery of professional safety services, promotion and implementation of our Site Safety Management System (SMS), and the delivery of health and safety related matters in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Critical Risk Management: Develop and implement critical risk management strategies to ensure compliance and quality.
- Investigation and Quality: Facilitate investigations, provide guidance and support to investigation facilitators and investigation leads, and develop investigation quality.
- Health and Safety Advice: Provide specialist health and safety advice and support to the Operations Manager, Department Managers, and other staff to assist with risk management and decision-making activities.
- Health and Safety Systems: Proactively utilize the Health and Safety Management Systems to achieve health and safety objectives and targets.
- Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare data and report on safety performance for daily and weekly meetings and reports.
- Safety Training: Present relevant safety training packages for use across the site.
- Audit and Compliance: Implement the Audit and Compliance Program to support the site in health and safety best practice and legislative requirements.
- Risk Management Processes: Support the business to effectively and consistently apply and review risk management processes.
- Certificate IV Workplace Health & Safety: Hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Safety Management Systems: Have a strong understanding of Safety Management Systems.
- Advanced PC Skills: Possess advanced PC skills and computer literacy, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).
- Legislative Compliance: Have knowledge of legislative compliance.
- Safety Data Interpretation: Be able to interpret and analyze safety data.
- Technical Writing: Have strong technical writing skills.
