Job Title:

Community Chaplain

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Chaplain to serve our college community in providing social, emotional, and spiritual support to staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer pastoral care, counseling, or chaplaincy services to students, families, and staff
  • Mentor and guide staff in their roles as Christians
  • Collaborate with the Church, Principal, College Counsellor, and College Chaplains to ensure optimal outcomes for our students, families, and staff
  • Exemplify, uphold, and support the Ethos of the college and its Core Values
Requirements:
  • Active Christian Faith
  • Possession of qualifications in Ministry and/or Theology, Psychology or Counselling
  • Current Working With Children Card
  • Current Police Clearance
Additional Requirements:
  • National Principles Child Safe Modules completion (if not already completed)
  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Membership and regular attendance at either Thornlie Church of Christ or Southern River Church of Christ
