About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network. As a Generalist Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of health services to the local community, working as part of a multi-professional team to provide preventative, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation approaches.

At AHP2 level, you will apply clinical experience, generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement, and evaluate services. You will work under reduced clinical direction and may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a comprehensive range of health services to the local community
  • Work as part of a multi-professional team to provide preventative, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation approaches
  • Apply clinical experience, generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement, and evaluate services
  • Contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification within the Speech Pathology profession
  • Eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Desirable to participate in Speech Pathology Australia's Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program
