Parks Maintenance Technician I Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Parks Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Victoria, Australia.

The Role:

  • Maintain plant and equipment reliability by providing maintenance and engineering solutions

  • Lead and manage a Mechanical trades team, and provide engineering and maintenance support to the site

  • Investigate process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions

  • Develop close working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality

  • Maintain training and documentation relevant to the mechanical team

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods

  • Ensuring preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently

  • Providing technical advice in Manufacturing facilities on-site

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering
  • Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling / packaging / palletising
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
