Senior Financial Strategist

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Senior Financial Strategist to partner with our leadership team in driving financial strategy and growth trajectory forward.

Job Description

As a key member of our APAC Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our Asia Pacific operations. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in delivering strategic financial insights, guiding budgeting and forecasting processes, and developing comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.

You will provide financial analysis, guidance, and recommendations to facilitate informed business decisions with operating leaders, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality financial reports, and monitoring key financial metrics. Additionally, you will oversee variance analysis, identify operational areas for improvement or risk mitigation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional accounting qualification CA ANZ or CPA Australia (or internationally recognized equivalent)
  • Experience: 15+ years of managing finance teams, experience with a globally distributed team is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, deep understanding of financial principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, and regulatory requirements; demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, M&A accounting, and strategic planning.
