Cloud Developer Role

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Developer to join our team. As a Cloud Developer, you will design and develop cloud-based solutions using Azure technologies.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based solutions, sharing expert knowledge with team members and external stakeholders, leading projects from start to finish, collaborating with teammates in a Scrum team, conducting code reviews, executing tests and reports according to established processes, reviewing and providing input to requirements, and staying updated on new Azure trends and technologies.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a Master of Science degree within software engineering, computer science or equivalent;
  • Have experience with public cloud (preferably Azure);
  • Have good knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (preferably Bicep or ARM templates);
  • Be experienced in working with DevOps platforms (preferably Azure DevOps);
  • Hold experience in developing software with object-oriented languages (preferably C#);
  • Understand software lifecycle processes and strive to ensure constant care for architecture, code base, test and documentation;
  • Thrive in a multisite, cross-cultural team and take pride in her/his craftsmanship;
  • Be self-driven and teamwork oriented; Focus on quality and thoroughness in general;
  • It would be nice if you also have experience with Design and Architectural patterns, Docker and Kubernetes, Cloud messaging (preferably Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus), DB as a service (preferably Azure SQL, Cosmos DB), proficiency in PowerShell or Bash for automation, CI/CD, practical knowledge of Linux-based systems, understanding of cloud data processing and storage (preferably Azure Synapse, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake).
