Job Description

We're seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Loyalty team. As part of this role, you'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions that meet business needs and deliver value to customers.

Your primary focus will be on delivering features and enhancements relating to the new Luxury Escapes Platform, ensuring all members, vendors, and internal teams have the best customer journey experience.

  • Design and develop scalable and high-performing systems using Node.js, Typescript, and React.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Apply best practices and industry standards for software development, including agile methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and resolving issues proactively to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior software engineers, participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, and React.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL (we use PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and implementation.
  • Knowledge and experience working with microservices architecture.
