Health and Wellbeing Specialist

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a motivated and hardworking Health and Wellbeing Specialist to support the delivery of exceptional secondary education in world-class learning facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first aid as needed, in compliance with relevant Occupational Safety and Health Legislation
- Develop and implement health and wellbeing programs and frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Provide guidance to staff on Workplace Health and Safety matters
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role. Knowledge of Compass management system is highly desirable.
Requirements:- Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or valid visa with relevant work rights
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Screening Clearance Number
Demonstrated project management skills and knowledge of WHS legislation, policy and practices are highly desirable.
