Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality data pipelines for serving analytics use-cases, including business intelligence and machine learning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in developing ETL pipelines for production environments. They will also have solid knowledge of cloud systems and data management principles, including data modeling, data quality monitoring, and access controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality data pipelines for serving analytics use-cases.
  • Collaborate with architects to develop architectural patterns for data pipelines, including event-based real-time processing.
  • Support the development and implementation of data engineering roadmaps.
  • Champion best practices for data management and data governance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a professional data engineer or analytics engineer.
  • Strong background in data engineering, with experience in developing ETL pipelines for production environments.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud systems and data management principles.
  • Ability to write high-quality code for data pipelines, preferably in Python.
  • Excellent SQL skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code builds.
  • Experience providing data engineering leadership and mentorship.
