Data Insights Engineer

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Engineer to join its ICT team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering advanced analytics, data integration, and insights that shape operational decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the Enterprise Historian (Aveva OSISoft PI).
  2. Integrate data from multiple operational systems to enable advanced insights.
  3. Develop dashboards, KPIs, and predictive analytics to support asset performance and operational decisions.
  4. Translate business priorities into analytics roadmaps and embed solutions into operational platforms.
  5. Ensure data governance, lifecycle management, and compliance with privacy/regulatory standards.
  6. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Asset Management, and ICT to deliver data-driven outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Strong expertise with Aveva OSISoft PI Historian (super-user or admin level).
  • Skilled in Python, SQL, R, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn.
  • Strong background in data engineering, statistical analysis, and quality assurance systems.
  • Experience in asset-intensive industries (water, utilities, infrastructure, energy ideal).
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously under pressure while delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Driver's license (occasional regional site travel).
