Job Opportunity:

This role is for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to provide leadership and support across various operations in Queensland and New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of mining operations, work environment and current practices">
  • Develop site-specific risk assessments, operational procedures and work instructions">
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare investigation reports">
  • Conduct compliance inspections and HSE audits">
  • Manage Workers Compensation claims and Rehabilitation Plans/Programs">
  • Identify and implement effective HSE initiatives">

Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mining or heavy transport industry">
  • Previous industry-specific experience in a Health & Safety or Management role">
  • Safety or related qualification from a tertiary institution">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills">
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word applications">
