About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Analytical Chemist and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Bayside Group. As a key member of our scientific team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality chemical analytical services and ensuring compliance with ISO 17034 quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and troubleshoot key analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-FID, and Karl Fischer moisture analysis
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17034 quality standards and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to continuous improvements and respond to audits
  • Manage data analysis and reporting for the certification of materials
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new procedures and protocols
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (Chemistry or equivalent)
  • Australian Citizenship at time of application
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance
  • Strong technical background with experience in accredited quality systems
  • Expertise in gas and liquid chromatography, LC-MS, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of ISO 17034 standards and measurement uncertainty
  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills
