Leadership Opportunity in Economic Policy Development
">We are seeking a skilled economist to contribute to the development and implementation of economic policy, providing leadership and expertise in areas such as trade and investment.
The role involves:
- Conducting complex economic analysis and advising on domestic and global issues;
- Leading research and development trends and providing technical and policy advice;
- Undertaking analysis on elements of moderately complex economic development and/or trade issues;
- Contributing to the development of team objectives and strategic planning;
- Building and maintaining engagements with stakeholders to shape domestic economic policy agendas.
Requirements:
Eligible applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a current security clearance. A tertiary qualification in economics or a related field is mandatory, along with at least three years' experience working as an economist in the public or private sector.
