Job Description

The Team Leader (House Manager) plays a key role in providing support to clients in a therapeutic home environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and compassionate leader to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our organisation.

As the primary point of contact for staff and young people, you will provide strong leadership and coordinate the day-to-day requirements of the team while ensuring the provision of services and support align with our Practice Framework. You will also be responsible for case management and supporting clients in achieving their goals and aspirations.

We are seeking a positive and engaging leader who can demonstrate previous success in managing teams within a residential care setting. Your ability to respond to changing work demands, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships will be essential in delivering high-quality services and outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and coordination to the team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure the provision of services and support aligns with our Practice Framework.
  • Conduct case management and develop client-specific behaviour intervention and support protocols and plans.
  • Manage referrals and ensure timely action is taken to support clients.


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a related role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Residential Care, Certificate IV in Community Services, Welfare or other related areas.
  • Proven flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing work demands.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a budget and perform financial tasks as required.
  • Understanding of child protection and residential OOHC services.
