Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICT information security specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and implementing ICT security accreditation requirements, planning and overseeing remediation activities, validating system security plans, reviewing and updating security risk assessments, and collaborating with defence cyber and information assurance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement ICT security accreditation requirements in line with Defence ICT accreditation policies and processes.
  • Plan and oversee remediation activities to ensure multiple accreditation packages are completed efficiently.
  • Validate system security plans and develop security test plans to ensure compliance with ISM PSPF and DSPF frameworks.
  • Review and update security risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Defence Cyber and Information Assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience working with Defence ICT accreditation policies and processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISM PSPF and DSPF frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively document and present security work packages.
  • A current NV1 security clearance.
