Senior Program Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the development and delivery of complex program initiatives that support strategic planning, preparedness, response, and recovery. Your work will directly contribute to building safer, more resilient communities across NSW.
You will lead research, provide expert advice, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure programs are evidence-based, strategically aligned, and effectively implemented.
From preparing high-level reports to driving project milestones, your role will be central to shaping disaster management outcomes.
About You- You are a strategic thinker with a passion for public impact and a proven ability to deliver impactful programs.
- Demonstrated experience designing and/or coordinating government programs.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
- Excellent written communication skills, including reports, briefs, and correspondence.
- The ability to conduct and apply research to inform program development.
- Skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Confidence navigating competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Current unrestricted NSW drivers' licence.
- An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
