About the Role:

Melba Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Sale. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing everyday support to individuals with high support needs in a dynamic sleepover model home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized support plans to promote personal choice and control
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, hygiene, and household duties
  • Transport individuals to community activities, appointments, and social events
  • Administer medication and provide support with epilepsy management
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in ongoing training and development

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Disability (desirable)
  • Passion for working with people and promoting independence
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and unrestricted Australian Driver's License
