Novotel Perth Langley is a 256-guest room hotel that operates the full suite of Food & Beverage products including all day dining, room service, conferencing and a popular Irish Pub.

We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Senior Chef De Partie to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, presentation and cooking techniques according to established recipes and procedures.

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years experience in a kitchen environment and be able to demonstrate creativity and flair in menu and meal design.
  • Leadership skills are essential to maintain a cohesive kitchen team, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is also crucial.
  • Full working rights in Australia are required, and the ability to provide culinary certificates upon application is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet hotel standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to drive continuous improvement in food quality and presentation.
  • Strive continually for innovative, quality, value for money food that is presented and served in the most complimentary way.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity and flair in menu and meal design.
  • Ability to use leadership skills to maintain a cohesive kitchen team.
  • Organise time and work efficiently.
  • Curiosity and willingness to undertake further self-development.
Benefits

This position requires a strong understanding of and ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP practices.

Additionally, flexibility to work a rotating roster including weeknights, weekends and public holidays is required.
