Cloud Engineer Role Overview

As a highly skilled Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining large-scale cloud-based systems using AWS services. This challenging role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Application Development: Develop, deploy, and maintain large-scale cloud-based applications using Python and other relevant technologies.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Set up and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Monitoring and Orchestration: Implement monitoring and orchestration tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics to ensure system reliability and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • AWS Services: Minimum 6 years of experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and VPC.
  • Python Programming: Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its various frameworks and libraries.
  • DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Instrumentation and Observability: Knowledge of instrumentation and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.
