Adelaide Airport is seeking a skilled Urban Planner to develop and deliver strategic planning across the airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing best practice planning principles, developing Airport Master Plans, and facilitating statutory approvals.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Lead the development of precinct plans, incorporating wellness, sustainability, and amenities, ensuring alignment with relevant regulations and the airports' objectives.
    • Oversee statutory planning across the airport by assessing Development Applications and Major Development Plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Provide expert advice on land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, and the approval process.
    • Lead a multidisciplinary consulting team to deliver precinct plans aligned with the development-ready strategy.

Requirements: In-depth knowledge of areas such as land use planning, urban design, regulatory approvals, and smart cities. Essential experience in town planning, development approvals, and compliance, with preferable experience in precinct or master planning for industrial or office complexes. A degree in Town Planning, Architecture, or Engineering, along with at least 7 years of relevant experience, is required.

Salary Information: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This salary range is estimated based on industry standards and Adelaide's cost of living.
