Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong retail sales and customer service focus, with empathy, compassion, and a drive to deliver the best outcome.

About the Role:

The Retail Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling new or additional services over the phone, and maintaining good condition of the retail premises and displays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking customer enquiries in store and over the phone.
  • Investigating and helping customers problem solve therapy issues.
  • Providing set-up, on-going support, and equipment to ensure therapy is maintained to a high standard.
  • Fitting customers for a mask and recommending the most appropriate mask based on training provided.
  • Providing customers with advice on the safe and effective use of their medical equipment.
  • Selling new or additional services over the phone, with follow-up on trials and testing results to ensure sales conversion.
  • Maintaining good condition of the retail premises and displays.
  • Handling payments, balancing float, and banking.
  • Managing trial and sales stock, re-ordering stock as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a busy retail or customer service role.
  • A caring and outstanding reception duty to our customers.
  • The ability to maintain compassion and remain calm under pressure.
  • A strong customer service focus that is always looking for the best outcome for the individual.
  • Strong and adaptable communication skills.
  • An active listener with the ability to find solutions to customer concerns and issues.
  • Healthcare retail experience is preferred, but not necessary as we will provide all the training required.
