About the Role

The Commission seeks a visionary leader to spearhead the development and maintenance of national standards aligned with the 2025 – 2030 Strategic Plan.

The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Australia's healthcare system, encompassing standards development and implementation, as well as experience with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of national standards.
  • Effectively oversee accreditation schemes and ensure their seamless integration.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and foster collaborative networks.
  • Promote program priorities through targeted communications and public relations efforts.

The Director will be responsible for leading high-performing teams and overseeing fiscal management of the program. The successful candidate will also collaborate with Commission teams to integrate expertise in standards development.
