Therapy Assistant Job Summary

As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to residents. You will work closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to develop and implement tailored therapy programs.

About the Role
  • Develop and deliver mobility and exercise programs for residents under the guidance of Physiotherapists
  • Conduct recreational and therapeutic activity programs for residents under the direction of Occupational Therapists
  • Collaborate with therapy teams to design and organize comprehensive therapy programs
  • Accompany resident groups on outings and provide support during activities
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities to drive quality lifestyle and therapy activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential
