Key Performance Indicator Analyst Role


This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a key performance indicator (KPI) analyst role. In this position, you will play a critical part in the effective management and continuous improvement of financial systems, data models, reporting frameworks, and data governance processes.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the organisation's analytical capabilities by ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial data and insights provided to internal stakeholders.

You will contribute to building a modern, scalable, and reliable business intelligence environment that empowers users across the organisation.


Responsibilities include:

  • Effective management and continuous improvement of financial systems, data models, reporting frameworks, and data governance processes.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial data and insights provided to internal stakeholders.
  • Building a modern, scalable, and reliable business intelligence environment that empowers users across the organisation.


Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years' relevant experience in a BI Developer, Reporting Analyst, or Data Analyst role.
  • Proven experience in BI & Reporting with financial teams delivering P&L, FinOps & Budget/Forecast reporting.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
  • Experience in DAX and Power Query.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modelling and relational databases.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects, with a focus on finance technology or data transformation.
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in a publicly listed (ASX) or global organisation.
  • Exposure to the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Tabular Editor & XMLA endpoint interaction.
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP BI, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
