Key Role Summary

The Principal Data Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, overseeing and managing modern data pipelines to ensure reliable, high-performance data delivery for enterprise analytics and AI workloads. This role ensures seamless data movement across internal and external systems, leveraging API integrations with key SaaS platforms.

To achieve this, the ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with modern data pipeline tools, strong proficiency in Python and SQL, and deep knowledge of API integrations and SaaS platforms. Additionally, they should have a solid understanding of data quality frameworks, monitoring, and alerting systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business needs, champion integration standards, and mentor data engineering teams.

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to join our team as a Principal Data Integration Engineer. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize pipelines using AWS Glue, dbt, Airflow or similar tools. You will also develop scalable ETL/ELT processes in Python and SQL, support batch and real-time/CDC data flows, and manage API integrations with various SaaS platforms.

  • Support both batch and real-time/CDC data flows to meet business needs.
  • Manage API integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira, HiBob, and other SaaS platforms.
Required Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience with modern data pipeline tools (AWS Glue, dbt, Airflow, Prefect, FiveTran, or similar orchestration).
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience in data transformation frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of API integrations and experience with SaaS platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira, HiBob).
  • Experience with data quality frameworks, monitoring, and alerting systems.
