Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Consultant Geriatrician to join our existing inpatient services, including the Cognitive Dementia and Memory clinic (CDAMS), Specialist Falls and Balance clinic and GEM@home program. The ideal candidate will be able to develop further Geriatric outpatient clinics and provide leadership and support to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality clinical care to patients with complex geriatric needs
  • Contribute to the development of new outpatient clinics and services
  • Mentor and support junior medical staff
  • Participate in educational activities and professional development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Physicians (FRACP)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lead and manage change
