Job Overview

The role of a Project Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of complex projects. This position requires a highly analytical and organised professional with exceptional communication skills.

This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining project budgets, tracking expenditures, and identifying variances. They will also prepare cost reports and forecasts, recommending corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate project budgets.
  • Track project expenditures and identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts.
  • Recommend proactive measures to prevent budget overruns.
  • Manage workforce plans, including updates based on actuals and forecasting resource requirements.
  • Oversee timesheet administration, reviewing for accuracy and input into SAP.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Prepare and submit monthly accruals.
  • Coordinate client financial reporting, including preparing estimates, forecasting, and providing input into monthly project status reports.
  • Manage project WBS elements, including reporting on revenue and cost variations.
  • Assist in bid estimation and pricing schedule process for contract changes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or certification in a related field (desired).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in project accounting or finance business partner roles.
  • Proven control account management experience, monitoring and controlling actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Experience with EACs and revenue recognition in line with percent complete.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
