About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radio / LTE Engineer to join our client's project team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and configuring land and marine-based communications and electronics products and accessories, as well as testing, fault-finding, and repairing RF antenna systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure communications equipment, including antennas, duplexers, and combining equipment
  • Test and maintain RF antenna systems in mobile and fixed equipment
  • Work on antenna systems, including on masts and towers, with appropriate training and equipment
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Electronics and Communications
  • Familiarity with brands such as Tait, Motorola, Icom, and GME
  • Experience in UHF and VHF radio systems, including analogue and digital technologies
  • Radio Frequency experience, including maintenance and support of communications equipment
  • EWP, WAH, and High Risk Licence highly regarded
  • A current manual driver's licence
  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in typical workplace software applications
