Seeking Support Specialist to provide multi-department support, including Claims, Customer Service and Sales & Marketing. Ideal candidate will have healthcare experience and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Opens, sorts and reprices claims
  • Responds to customer inquiries
  • Supports marketing department by preparing disruption and geo results for prospects and customers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in healthcare, especially with medical claims preferred
  • Call center and/or receptionist experience desirable
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding
Preferred Skills:
  • Population-specific competency: ability to effectively interact with patients/customers
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take directions from a supervisor/lead and work independently
Physical Demands:
  • Sedentary: exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
