Job Description:
\We have an exciting opportunity available for a Day Shift Manager to join our team at a leading packaging site in South Australia.
\The successful candidate will manage the day shift, which runs from 7am – 3pm, and will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met by providing support and direction to their team members.
\This is a critical role within our Operational Leadership community, and we are seeking someone who can bring:
\- \
- Prior experience in a people and operations leadership role within manufacturing\
- Well-developed organisational skills, including effective negotiation, influencing, problem solving, planning, making decisions, goal setting, and coaching\
- An unwavering focus on safety, with a commitment to developing a 'no injuries' culture\
- Effective cost management experience, through negotiation of charges and cost control in operational areas\
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills\
- A supportive environment for their team members, with a focus on engagement, inclusivity, and respect\
- Delivering all safety, quality and production targets in accordance with quality standards\
