A highly skilled Gastroenterologist is sought to join a teaching hospital as a specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patients with general gastroenterology, chronic liver disease, IBD, and both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide specialist treatment and care of patients in Gastroenterology.
  • Undertake procedures as required in the Department of Gastroenterology.
  • Arrange onward referral of patients for medical services not available locally.
  • Liaise with specialist colleagues as necessary for the care of hospital patients.

**Essential Requirements:**

  • Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Substantially comparable outcome by the RACP.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Sound knowledge of current specialty practice in Gastroenterology.
  • Recent practice in an acute hospital setting.
