Job Description

As a Rostering Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing collection rosters and workforce planning. This includes entering and verifying daily shift adjustments, coordinating short notice sick leave replacements, and managing leave applications.

You will work closely with other Coordinators and Territory Managers to effectively manage rosters, people, and the delivery of high-quality services. This role requires attention to detail, ability to prioritize work, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and verify daily shift adjustments via UKG;
  • Coordinate short notice sick leave replacement;
  • Coordinate and distribute rosters;
  • Work with Collection Coordinators on workforce planning;
  • Management of leave applications;
  • Analyse rostered hours to ensure adherence with the enterprise agreement and contracted hours;
  • Assist with preparation of accuracy of timesheets for the Pay Office;
  • Manage staff enquiries regarding rosters and changes to rosters;
  • Support collection staff with day-to-day operational matters and general collection centre enquires;
Requirements
  • Previous experience rostering via UKG (Kronos) - preferred but not essential;
  • Previous rostering experience - preferred not essential
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate or advanced skills in Excel;
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and identify efficiencies and improvements;
  • Polished and professional telephone manner;
  • Ability to communicate in a concise and articulate manner;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and, when required, to work autonomously;
  • Ability to work flexible hours across the department as required;
  • Ability to interpret instructions and provide feedback to ensure systems, procedures and processes are maintained at the highest standard;
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses).
About the Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time position, working 7.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based at our laboratory at Mile End and will be allocated a specific geographical region to manage.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
