Job Title:

Lending Operations Manager

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position within our lending operations team. We are seeking an experienced individual to lead a team of credit assessors and oversee the credit assessment process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide effective leadership and coaching of team members, driving cyclical people activities such as performance reviews and inspiring new ways and engagement of the team.
  2. Oversee day-to-day lending operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks, and managing workflows to maximise productivity.
  3. Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships, promoting collaboration to support successful outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with sales, credit risk, product, and continuous improvement teams to optimise credit processes and procedures.
  5. Ensure activities comply with regulatory standards, proactively manage risks, and lead quality assurance measures, implementing corrective actions.
  6. Prepare and deliver performance reports, dashboards, analysing operational data.
  7. Provide strategic support to the Head of Lending Operations, which includes but not limited to driving initiatives, maintain and updating of credit policies, procedures, process and training.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in Banking Industry with specific experience in lending.
  • Relevant certifications/degree in lending or financial services (optional but beneficial).
