Job Title: Security Systems Support Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled security systems professional to join our team at a brand-new heart hospital. The successful applicant will be responsible for testing and commissioning electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, duress, and intrusion alarm systems.

The jobholder will also provide support to the project and commissioning teams.

About Electronic Security Systems

Our Security Systems Support Officer will assist the security systems team with testing and commissioning electronic security systems. This includes:

  • Testing and commissioning access control, CCTV, duress, and intrusion alarm systems
  • Programming and managing cardholder access for project teams and other commissioning teams
  • Assisting the security systems manager and administrators with administration tasks as required
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A working knowledge of security systems, including access control, CCTV, duress, and intrusion alarm systems
  • Experience with Siemens Sipass access control software and GENETEC CCTV software
  • Previous experience in a similar testing and commissioning role or using security systems software
Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised to achieve set goals in a defined time frame
  • Flexibility to work at multiple sites and adapt to changing requirements
