Golf Operations Supervisor Role

The Grange Golf Club is a renowned 18-hole golf course located in the beautiful surroundings of Kembla Grange. Established in 1964, it has become a challenging yet accessible course that offers world-class event and hospitality services.

Job Description:

As a Golf Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to members and visitors at the golf shop and associated food and beverage services. This is a full-time salaried position with a 38-hour week, plus opportunities for coaching and supplementing income outside rostered hours for PGA-qualified applicants.

Responsibilities:
  • Use of point-of-sale systems
  • Retail and merchandising management
  • Delivery of daily golf shop operations, including golf cart management
  • Retail sales, equipment hire, beverage sales, and basic food handling and snack sales
  • General cleaning and presentation of shop/club facilities
  • Teaching opportunities: individual, group coaching, and junior program development
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current PGA membership (preferable) and ability to provide tuition
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Commitment to ongoing development
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Competent computer skills, preferably with experience in MiClub
  • RSA and RCG qualifications (or willingness to acquire)
