Secure Facility Design Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and motivated Physical Security Specialist to join our team in designing secure facilities that maximize the effectiveness of our physical security program.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in extra-low voltage system design, working with architectural and engineering teams to ensure security best practices are implemented. They will be responsible for drafting new systems into design teams' build plans and coordinating with physical security leaders to understand new build and security system designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive security strategies
- Interpret risk assessments and threat analysis to select appropriate security technologies
A successful candidate will possess a degree in Architectural, Electrical Engineering, or Physical Security, or equivalent experience in a related security field. They will also have 2+ years of experience in physical security system design and engineering, proficiency with government security frameworks, policies, and standards, and certification in PSP, CPP, PMP, CPTED, or similar fields.
