Positive Behaviour Support Team Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Positive Behaviour Support teams in Perth.

As a Team Leader, you will provide guidance and support to Behaviour Support Practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services aligned with industry standards.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with clients across various settings, strong operational skills, and excellent communication skills. You will be comfortable supporting the BSP team operationally and clinically, while maintaining a high professional standard in a collaborative leadership environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing coaching and mentoring to Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Leading and managing a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Considerable experience providing support to people with behaviours of concern
  • Substantial experience in positive behaviour supports
  • Up-to-date evidence-based clinical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills
