Job Description
As a Positive Behaviour Support Clinician, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly varied role with a focus on delivering therapeutic interventions and developing support plans for clients. You will be responsible for conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, and maintaining mixed caseloads across children and adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored support plans.
- Develop and implement effective Positive Behaviour Support Plans that promote client well-being and independence.
- Maintain a diverse caseload of clients across different age groups and abilities.
- Collaborate closely with Families and carers to ensure that support plans are tailored to meet individual client needs.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall quality of life.
- Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals as required to ensure comprehensive client care.
Requirements:
- Registered/Clinical Psychologist or Provisional Psychologists or Social Workers or experienced PBS Clinicians.
- Experience in Positive Behaviour Support plans and assessments is highly advantageous.
- Extensive clinical experience in the NDIS space is considered an asset.
- The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance is required.
- A valid VIC Driving Licence is necessary for travel between clients.
- A Working with Children Check is mandatory.
