Job Title: Data Center Regional EngineerAre you an engineering expert looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Center Regional Engineer to join our team.As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to our data centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You will work closely with vendors to review new data center designs, act as resident engineer during construction projects, and provide technical support to ensure seamless operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with vendors to review and provide input on new data center designs, ensuring they meet our expectations.
  • Act as resident engineer during new data center construction projects, overseeing commissioning, handover, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and create corrective action documentation.
  • Provide technical support to design teams, reviewing and approving upgrades to existing data centers to improve availability, efficiency, and capacity.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners.
  • Work on concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions.
  • Initiate and lead engineering site audits within leased or colo data centers, producing reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations and remediation's.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data center engineering, including design, construction, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and environmental health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Experience working with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
